Planning & Zoning Commissioners are elected or appointed to the commission. Often commissioners have experience, either professional or lay, in land use, engineering, or development. Their recommendations and guidance play a central role in shaping the physical character of a community by setting and enforcing land use rules, guiding sustainable growth, and balancing development with the welfare of the public.

Planning Commission meetings are held the 1st Tuesday of every month at City Hall.
